Bay United Signed Two Youngsters

Bay United have beefed by their squad by signing two players in the form of former Garankuwa United midfielder Thapelo Mathibe and Mamelodi Sundowns youth player Thabo George Maselwa. [Both of whom are P Management Players!]

The two players were signed yesterday and will be part of the team when the league resumes on February 15. Mathibe was one of the best players at Garankuwa and helped his former side to win their respective league last season. They qualified to participate in the Vodacom SAFA National Playoffs in Cape Town where they did not do well.

Maselwa played for ALs Puk Tawana, when they eliminated Platinum Stars from the Nedbank in the 2009/2010 season. Both players according to their agent at P Management have signed with Umlilo for the next two years.

“Yes it is true the players have signed with Bay United and we wish them all the best as they start their new careers at the team,” said P Management spokesperson Luyanda Papu.

Bay United General Manager Lungsi Mooi also confirmed the signing of the two youngsters at the team.

“It is true we have signed these players as the coach needed to beef up the team and he knows that these two youngsters will help us in our quest to fight for promotion,” Mooi concluded.
