Feb 23 Mnqele for Bafana Bafana

P Management is delighted at the inclusion of lethal striker Edward Mnqele into the Bafana Bafana team, that will face Senegal on Wednesday, 29th February 2012 - at the Moses Mabida Stadium.

 

Free State Stars striker, Edward Manqele, says he is happy with the latest achievement in his career. The 24-year-old striker has been included in the 23-man Bafana Bafana squad selected for next week’s friendly game against Senegal.
 
“I am very happy because it’s something that I always dreamt about. For me, it’s all about working hard and focusing on my career and nothing else. I’ll just have to continue with the hard work and if I get the chance I’ll try to do what I have been doing and try to score a goal without putting any pressure on myself,” said Manqele.
 
In only his maiden season in the PSL, having joined Stars from Vodacom League’s Trabzon FC at the beginning of the season, Manqele has set the scene alight with his performances.
 
He has already scored eight goals for Steve Komphela’s side and he is up there with the league’s big boys on the goal scorers charts.
